Pilgrim Congregational Church is based in the heart of Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.
The church was first established in mid 19th century as a Presbyterian church. It became a free Presbyterian church and finally in 1976 became a Congregational Church. Since 1976 it has been a member of the Congregational Federation.
The name of the church was changed in 1976 to the Pilgrim Congregational church. Over the years we have had about 8 ministers from our inception in the mid 19th century. One of the ministers, the Rev. Charles Campbell, ministered from 1898 until 1952 (50 years).
The former minister, the Rev. Robert Young, retired, after a long illness, in December 2006 when the present minister, Sam Pattison, took over.
